As Vice President of General Lending at X-Caliber Rural Capital, Gabriel Mashaal is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing commercial real estate loans across all asset classes with specific expertise in the hospitality sector. Given his strong focus on relationship-driven lending, he partners with borrowers, brokers, and syndicate capital sources to deliver strategic debt solutions tailored to each client’s objectives, while carefully managing credit risk within the company’s portfolio.

Mr. Mashaal brings extensive experience in deal underwriting and real estate capital markets with a proven track record of closing large, complex transactions. He has played a key role in developing and implementing the firm’s innovative Rural PACE-X structure as well, which combines first mortgage construction capital with C-PACE financing to create high-leverage capital stacks.

Prior to joining X-Caliber Rural Capital, Mr. Mashaal served as an Associate at X-Caliber Advisors, where he led financial modeling, market research initiatives, and oversaw management of the overall business pipeline. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Analyst at Eyzenberg & Company and ReedsBay Investment Group, LLC.

Mr. Mashaal earned a Master of Science in Real Estate from New York University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a concentration in Value Investing, from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University.
