California Custom Processing (CCP), a leading almond processor, offers comprehensive almond processing services including blanching, steam pasteurization, roasting, slicing, and flour production. As an integral player in California’s almond industry, CCP is expanding its existing 65,000-square-foot facility by adding an adjacent 52,500-square-foot building.
THE SOLUTION
X-Caliber Rural Capital provided a $29.5 million USDA Food Supply Chain Guaranteed Loan for refinancing existing debt and constructing the new facility. CastleGreen Finance supplemented this with $4 million in C-PACE financing via the California Statewide Communities Development Authority’s Open PACE Program. The C-PACE funds support renewable energy improvements, including a rooftop solar array, battery storage, and seismic resiliency enhancements.
