As Transaction Manager, Joni Turquand is responsible for managing the progress of X-Caliber Rural Capitals’ loans to ensure timely closings. Ms. Turquand’s primary duties include monitoring transaction timelines, conducting comprehensive due diligence, and overseeing third-party reporting. Ms. Turquand also ensures pipeline updates and handles post-closing needs to guarantee smooth transitions across all stages of the loan process.
Ms. Turquand has more than two decades of experience in commercial and residential lending, specializing in compliance, transaction management, and loan processing. Prior to her role at X-Caliber Rural Capital, Ms. Turquand served as AVP, Senior Commercial and Construction Loan Administrator at Pacific Premier Bank, where she was responsible for managing the full scope of commercial and construction loans, including document preparation and acting as the primary liaison between sales, legal, and compliance teams. She also spent a decade at Malaga Bank, where she specialized in Commercial and Residential lending. During her tenure, she took on various roles, including loan funder, commercial loan processor, and document preparation specialist, adapting her skills to meet the evolving needs of the institution.
Ms. Turquand is currently earning a certificate in Paralegal Studies and has maintained her compliance certifications for over two decades, ensuring her knowledge remains current with industry regulations.
